## Intended use

The initial product is for a parent or legal guardian supporting a child’s managed Android device. It is not intended for secret monitoring of a spouse, partner, employee, roommate, or another adult, and it is not positioned as an emergency service.

## Product surfaces

- **LookAtMe Parent app:** the supporting Android phone can request support, view authorized device status, and manage paired family devices.
- **LookAtMe Managed app:** the supported Android phone presents product status, local controls, disclosures, and visible activity for supported capabilities.
- **LookAtMe web interface:** an authenticated controller surface for account, device, activity, privacy, support, and supported live-session workflows.

## Core capabilities and principles

- Guided, same-account pairing between controller and managed devices
- Device status such as connectivity, battery, freshness, and capability health
- Request-based location when location sharing is enabled; no route history is created
- Visible, time-bounded screen-support sessions under the product’s authorization and Android requirements
- Activity history for trust, pairing, permission, session, privacy, and security events
- Local managed-device controls and clear states for pending, declined, active, stopped, unavailable, or stale activity
- Data minimization, purpose limitation, revocation, and visible product state

## Safety boundaries

LookAtMe must not hide its app, active state, or significant functions. It does not provide arbitrary filesystem access, credential capture, keylogging, call or SMS interception, hidden continuous media recording, remote taps or text input, or advertising based on sensitive family data. Sensitive features are subject to authorization, disclosure, Android platform behavior, and product review.

Camera and microphone capabilities are conditional and should not be described as generally available unless the current product website or release notes explicitly confirm them. LookAtMe does not promise real-time emergency location or guaranteed delivery.
